The student projects featured in this gallery are exemplary models which demonstrate nuanced understandings of body politics through visual analysis. Students worked in small groups to choose a topic to investigate together and apply concepts and ideas from the course to analyze visual representations of bodies that they have encountered in the world around them. This work culminated in the creation of an online visual exhibition curated collectively. The featured projects demonstrate informed, thoughtful and sustained intellectual engagement with a broad range of relevant concepts, theories, and issues related to body politics.
